Jesus explains how we are connected, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. . . . Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. . . . As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love. . . . My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." John 15
In the days or weeks ahead it is more important than ever that we "remain" connected to Jesus. He is our source of strength, encouragement, and life. As branches, love flows to us and through us, connecting us to one another!
"There is one body and one Spirit; just as you were called to one hope . . . one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all . . ." Ephesians 4
It was a different kind of worship experience, but with the help of God's Holy Spirit it was a blessing! May God be glorified and may He be pleased that we are worshiping together spiritually even though we are apart physically!
Our books have finally arrived! - "Draw the Circle--The 40 Day Prayer Challenge" by Mark Batterson. We will begin reading these together each day as a church, so please stop by the church office (between 11:00 a.m. and Noon) and pick up your copy. Or, if you would like, just call the office at 361-2379 and we will deliver a copy to you (no charge for the book or the delivery)!
We have purchased sealed communion juice/bread cups so that you may use these as you worship at home. We would like to have eveyone doing this in unison during our video-service on Sundays. You may also pick these up at the church office from 11:00 - Noon, or we will be glad to bring them to you--just call the church office at 361-2379.
