We have so much more to offer than a cup of coffee!
The Coffee Connection
In addition to your personal relationship with God, being a Christian involves a social aspect of being one of God's children, it's called "fellowship!" "From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."(Ephesians 4:16). These relationships begin by simply being together, then connections begin to form with other members of Christ's body. God knew we would need one another, and it pleases Him to see love and unity amoung his children.
OurCoffee Connectionis open on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:30 a.m.--come have a cup of coffee and a pastry or doughnut (no charge, donations accepted) and meet some other friendly people! Then at 9:30 we offer a variety of adult Chrisitan education classes called "GROW U" to help each of us to understand and mature in our faith (several classes are also offered for children of all ages, including a nursery).
TheCoffee Connectionis open again from 10:15-10:30 a.m., just prior to our 10:30 worship time together--which begins with the uplifting music of our praise team and concludes with an inspiring, challenging sermon from Pastor Theo Dues.
Come early and have some great coffee and meet some diverse, interesting people, then spend some time learning just how awesome God truly is!
"Church," when done the way God intended, is a beautiful thing! Our time together with God and one another will make a positive difference in your day, your week, and quite possibly the rest of your life!
Coffee, conversation and caring!
What would you like with your coffee? A small idea has grown into a ministry serving not just coffee, but hospitality and fellowship! Come and experiene a little of each of these before attending a GROW U class or Worship Service. As in most coffee shops, you will get a sense of the culture and personality of the poeple and place around you! Our moto reflects our diversity, "The church where you can't possibly not fit in!" We dare you to try it (the coffee and the church)!
