Wherever Jesus was He would befriend new people, most often those who desparately needed a friend: a tax collector named Zacchaeus; an unnamed Samaritan woman; an unnamed man born blind; a demon possessed woman named Mary Magdalene; a nameless thief being crucified;
and on and on . . .
Their new friend Jesus taught them to believe God's message of Good News. His desire was for them to want to belong together with Him and other believers. His life and words would lead them to become more and more like Him each day of their lives!
